We are moving into the final finish stages at our Newcomb property, and the transformation this week has been huge.
Flooring & Finishes The flooring crew just finished laying the large-format porcelain tile throughout the main living areas. We chose a modern light grey tone that reflects the natural light coming in from the sliding doors and keeps the home feeling open and airy.
Bathroom Details In the guest bath, we installed a vertical wood-look slat tile for the tub surround. This is a great example of "Pahrump Modern"—it gives you the warm, organic texture of wood without the maintenance issues of using real timber in a wet zone.
What’s Next? Now that the wet work is done, the finish carpenters are taking over. The kitchen prep is complete, and cabinets are arriving shortly. We are designing this open-concept layout to maximize that incredible view of Mount Charleston right from the kitchen island.
